resume: After leaving his hometown in New Jersey, the gangly teenager, Daniel LaRusso, arrives in sunny Los Angeles with his single mother, Lucille. After being hired for a new job, Lucille Larusso and her teenage son, Daniel, move from their home in New Jersey to take up residence in sunny Southern California. As expected, Daniel is not crazy about starting a new life across the country, having to say goodbye to all of his friends and everything. Once they reach their destination, Daniel meets up with some people his age and they go to the beach. It does not take long for Daniel to find trouble. He has an encounter with Johnny Lawrence after the latter gets into an argument with his ex-girlfriend, Ali. The problem is that Johnny knows karate, and proceeds to triumph over Daniel.
After the beach incident, Johnny and his pals continue to harass Daniel. While all of this is going on, he begins to develop a relationship with Ali. Not only that, he strikes a friendship with Mr. Miyagi, the handyman at Daniel's apartment building.
Miyagi comes to Daniel's aid one night when Johnny and his group surround Daniel and beat him up. Miyagi, who is experienced in karate, defeats all of the boys in no time. This leads to Daniel asking Miyagi for assistance in dealing with his enemies.
The duo go to the karate school where Johnny and company train, the Cobra Kai dojo. Once they enter the building, they see why the students are like they are: Their sensei, John Kreese. Kreese is a hardcore type, who believes that anyone you encounter in karate is an enemy. The two sides discuss the matter, and it is agreed that Daniel will enter the local karate tournament, where several Cobra Kai students will be competing as well. How will Daniel fare in the tournament? Will the Cobra Kai dojo win?
John G. Avildsen directed this underdog movie, which is familiar territory for him (he was the director of Rocky. Like Rocky, Avildsen knows how get the audience to sympathize with Daniel. Robert Mark Kamen wrote the screenplay, and from watching this movie, you will have a liking or disliking for each character. The casting is also very good. Ralph Macchio and Pat Morita give good performances here (and Morita has his share of funny moments) and Elisabeth Shue is fine as Ali. Martin Kove, who played Kreese, is perfect as the villainous sensei.
This is a movie that anyone can enjoy. It would make for a good choice for family movie night. Watch it, it's a good one.

Even though he has no idea what hes doing. He goes with the flow. Mr. Mayagi teaches him respect, discipline, and anyone can over come their fears. This is one of the best films of the 80's. It even has classic names of the 80's, like Johnny, Daniel, Tommy, and my favorite, Bobby. So if you don't have anything better to do, then check out Karate Kid. You might even learn a thing or two about a thing or two.

This one seemed to be as though it was written by a music student or musician who was trying (too hard) to push their passion and belief that music can solve all problems. What can I say? I went into this with high hopes that they could actually pull off B&T3.
There was nothing new, except for the bad aging makeup on Reeves.
The daughters looked like a nice touch at first, but then they reduced to bad mimics of the original B&T.
This was foolishness at it's worst. Little shop of horrors was foolishness but it worked. B&T3, in my mind, lasted 3 minutes, and the rest was jus "whoa, dude, whoa, save the world, whoa"

Bill and Ted Face the Music (2020) Full Movie Stream free download. Bill and ted face the music(2020) full movie stream free games. So I watched the new movie Bill and Ted Face the Music. Of course with Covid this was pushed from a theatrical release to a digital one. I've honestly been pretty excited to give this one a watch considering I love the Bill and Ted series. Overall,this film absolutely succeeded as a touching send off to the series and a nostalgia rich blast from the past with a heart of gold. We may not have necessarily needed a Bill and Ted part 3 but I'm certainly happy we got one.
The plot of the film follows an aging Bill and Ted as they still continue to try to discover the song that will revolutionize the world. Of course as life happens they haven't been as successful as expected and it appears their marriage is on the verge of collapse. A visitor from the future yet again push the duo on a quest through time and space for their far out adventures. This time we also get to meet their daughters who also pick up the mantle as lazy but endearing rockers who just like to jam out and try to save the world. It may not be the smartest film but you will have a hard time not smiling at the aging rockers wacky shenanigans.
The story is hardly what I would call revolutionary but where the film really succeeds is as a nostalgia rich blast from the past with a heart of pure gold. The film constantly references itself in a way which brings back past plot points but still manages to avoid feeling lazy or tripe at all. The film has heart and it will absolutely make you smile, which in our current social climate is a nice treat in itself.
I personally found the film to be quite funny as well. This certainly isn't a cerebal experience in any regard. It's not high brow humor but it was never trying to be. It's silly and it really embraces the wacky Bill and Ted formula to give you a fun family friendly comedy that will entertain those ready to embrace the silliness of it all. Be excellent, rock out, and love each other. What's not not to enjoy about all of that wrapped in a silly silly voyage through time that will have you laughing?
Acting-wise Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter did not skip a beat picking up their iconic roles as aging rockers for Wild Stallions. I'm not saying either deserve an Oscar here, but both put their heart into this role and they really brought back what made these characters so lovable in the first place. Yes they are older but these two really managed to stay true to the elements that made Bill and Ted such great characters in the first place.
My biggest surprise however were the two young actresses playing their daughters Samara Weaving and Brigette Lundy-Paine. These two really did a fantastic job channeling the character's personality and mannerisms and in a way that absolutely made them believable as the rockstars daughter. Plus both of them did a great job delivering the lines so that their side adventures are just as fun as Bill and Ted's.
Now of course as much as I enjoyed the film it was far from perfect. The film was very formulaic and highly predictable. It absolutely relied heavily on the nostalgia formula to push the narrative along which could be deemed is lazy by some. It absolutely was not reinventing the wheel here but I would argue they were never trying to. As long as you can embrace the formula and nostalgia without being too jaded there is a fun time to be had.
At its very heart Bill and Ted has always been a light-hearted and lovable franchise about goofballs getting together and making a difference with passion and caring for their fellow man. Yes, the film is goofy and silly and highly predictable at times. It's also heartwarming and gives just enough nostalgia to give you the warm and fuzzies while also delivering keeping the characters as lovable as ever. Personally I had fun and smiled and laughed the entire time. A 7.75 out of 10.
